Water Control Structures

The dry season in Costa Rica is usually from the end of November until past Easter. The amount of rain in rainy season depends on the climate zone, with heaviest rains usually in October. Since the rainy season is about to begin, we have been working on the construction of an efficient rainwater control system.

Controlling rain is the single most important actor in the design and construction of developments. The analysis and planning of all the water control systems, as well as the assessment of construction and post construction, has been directed by a specialized water resource expert group of Costa Rican architects and engineers, who are familiarized with the Central Pacific’s common weather.

All the water control structures have been designed to address extreme rain exposures. They are important in order to manage rainwater drainage, minimize maintenance costs, protect properties adjacent to drainage ways, and improve water quality.

Bridges

There are 19 bridges in Costa Montaña Estates. Their construction will be completed before Easter. These bridges allow the water to run quickly into drains and constitute the key to the success of the drainage system.

Main Entrance

The construction of the Main Entrance building commenced weeks ago. It will be completed within the next 3 months. It has a cost of $250 000, 00. It consists of a two stories building where the security and property owner’s association offices will be located.

The special design touches ensure a construction beyond anything existing in Costa Rica. Waterfalls and exotic gardens are part of the Main Entrance’s garments.
